This 2003 Merlot is a full bodied richly coloured wine with intense varietal flavours of ripe plums and blueberries with hints of savoury spice. Maturation in French and American oak for 12 months provides subtle oak overtones, mid palate softness and a velvety fine grained texture. Medium to long term cellaring is recommended.
