The D’Aloisio family have been involved in the agricultural heritage of the Yarra Valley since the late 1960's and by 1994 planted the first vines on their 36 hectare property, known as Yarraland. Plantings include red varieties of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Merlot and Pinot Noir along with white varieties of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Constantly striving to produce fruit of the highest quality for their Billanook Estate wines is reflected in the meticulous way the Yarraland Vineyard is managed. Family members oversee the process of the grapes to wine from harvest to the bottles. The vineyard is located in one of the prime positions in the Yarra Valley that takes in spectacular views.
