SHORTEST LUNCH 2011
Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th June Menu: Barbequed lamb cutlets marinated in a Moroccan spice mix served with a mesculin & chickpea salad drizzled with our estate grown virgin olive oil & lemon dressing and seasoned roast potatoes - $15. Vegetarian option available. Live Music on the day for your entertainment. PICNIC AT BILLANOOK ESTATE Just bring yourself and a picnic hamper and savour our wines whilst enjoying the breathtaking views of the Yarra Valley. On weekends we have our very popular Mediterranean Platter available (for two) @ $22. |

2005 Cabernet Sauvignon - Merlot
This 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon (70%) and Merlot (30%) is dark brick red in colour with aromas of blackberries, black cherry, chocolate and coffee. Rich ripe fruit fill the mouth with lingering flavours of mocha coffee on the palate and soft fruit tannins on the finish. This wine is further enhanced by maturation in French oak barriques for over 14 months. Will develop with further cellaring.
